nephirnuit: {Photo of a young male, caucasian} Text reads: Christopher (Chris) Virdell age 18 of Spanaway was last seen between the 9-10am hour in the area of 224th and 42nd in Spanaway on Thursday February 9th. Chris was supposed to be catching a Pierce Transit bus to work for an 11:30am shift at South Hill Safeway at 13308 Meridian East, something he did on a regular basis. He did not show up for his shift and has not been seen or heard from since. This is totally out of character for Chris! Chris is approximately 5’5” 120lbs with light brown hair and brown eyes and often wore a fluorescent orange hunting type hoody, ball cap and skate type shoes. If you have any information, no matter how insignificant you think it may be PLEASE call the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office at 253-200-7856 or 253-798-4721. Family, friends and coworkers are very concerned for him.
